Settee Chair Re-Do

This settee has been sitting in my grandparents barn for well over 15 years. It was given to me and I was just a kid, really din't know what to do with it. So along comes this photography passion, and with it I see all this cool furniture being drug out in to open fields and whatnot. I had an Aha moment and remembered my settee in the barn.

I specialize in capturing lifestyle type portraits of newborns, children, seniors and families. Serving a 50 mile radius from Freetown, I provide photography to individuals located in Columbus, Seymour, North Vernon, Brownstown, Nashville and all of Brown County, along with southern Johnson County, including Morgantown, Trafalgar and Nineveh.

I currently have two senior model reps working for me this year. One is at Jennings County High School in North Vernon, Indiana and the second at Indian Creek High School in Trafalgar, Indiana. These girls are helping me to spread the word about Kari Smith Photography.

New Prop - South Central Indiana Photographer

This settee has been sitting in my grandparents barn for well over 15 years. It was given to me and I was just a kid, really din't know what to do with it. So along comes this photography passion, and with it I see all this cool furniture being drug out in to open fields and whatnot. I had an Aha moment and remembered my settee in the barn.

Wow - not real pretty huh? Oh, but I had a vision. High gloss black paint, re-upholster with some gorgeous Amy Butler fabric, add some trim and couple buttons - and viola!

 

Pretty, huh?

Now, that's more like it!

All in all I think I spent less than $85. I had to replace the seat cushioning, that and my material were the biggest costs.
